    Hi Kristen - Thank you for giving me an answer to my question on my blog about writing scales. If I am not overstepping any writer boundaries, can I pick your brain for a second?

    1. How do you find work as a copywriter rather than an article writer?

    2. How did you start doing this?

    3. Do you have any suggestions on where I can find higher paying jobs or ebooks or whatever source you can recommend on how to go further in my career instead of just writing $5.00 aricles??

    i think you need to understand copywriting before just applying to jobs. you have to build up experience. i had some business background and started with some low-paying work. my experience in news helped me as well.

    i wouldn't just rely on job boards, i would approach companies you want to work for. read peter bowerman's books--they are very helpful. good luck.
